They haven’t and neither have their supporters. What’s worse is that they think you haven’t either.
WHY DO THESE PEOPLE INSIST ON DENYING US HISTORY! *just remember andrew, this isn’t a legit news corp, not a legit news corp, no legitness, legitness is not present* *sigh*
You’re a moron. I’m not defending Obama, but if she runs against him she has no chance. Her poll numbers are far below his, and continue to fall everytime she opens her mouth.
“Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprize, every expanded prospect.”

“the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter.”

“The clergy…believe that any portion of power confided to me [as President] will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly: for I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. But this is all they have to fear from me: and enough, too, in their opinion.” –Thomas Jefferson to Benjamin Rush, 180
P.S. Thomas Jefferson was of course referring to the Deist God.
” the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion”
– Treaty of Tripoli 11th article
The Treaty of Tripoli was ratified by unanimous vote of the senate. Also, Palin quoted the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution. The Declaration of Independence, although significant for U.S. history, has no legal power. I’ll take U.S. history for $100 Alex.
Mrs.Palin, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may Darwin have mercy on your soul.

RIght Judeo-CHristian beliefs. As if it was one unified entity, as if CHristians and Jews were such brothers in arms throughout history. As if encouraging or discouraging religion isnt unconstitutional. She is a danger to America
she’s an idiot and anyone who takes her seriously is also an idiot. Not only does Palin not grasp the difference between “Christian” and “American”, she also picks and chooses to interpet the Constitution to fit her particular viewpoints. She doesn’t even have the brains to recognize her rank hypocrisy, trying to fit a flexible document into an inflexible one….or visa versa…you try to figure out which way she’s going….
Isn’t the constitution rather at odds with the ten commandments? Last I checked, the first amendment protected my rights to worship other gods, make idols, take the lord’s name in vain, say disrespectful things about my parents (not that I would), and entertain covetous thoughts.

Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man.

This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it
