January 22nd, 2010

There’s nothing wrong with the tea partiers embracing personalities like Sarah Palin so long as the movement still holds true to and continues to seriously embrace limited government principles.

As unimaginable as this may sound to most tea partiers, Palin is the controlled opposition.

  2. kmg501 Says:

I agree, Palin while popular and a good person at heart is not at all the right person to represent the Tea Party concept or the party itself. I hope her to include in the party but not as a principle voice.

  3. beckrecordingstudios Says:

Dr Ron Paul can lead my tea party.
He is the only one who wants to reign in the military industrial complex.
Not only will we save lives but also lots of money
    Peace

I’m not apologizing for her. I am merely explaining that a VP Candidate ALWAYS (run Rand Paul for VP of John McCain if you want to experiment) are forced to be the back-seater in the mix.

Sarah lowered what would have been an upset to McCain — and I mean an EMBARRASSING landslide.

If you could get away with it, you’d blame her for McCain’s actual shortcomings.

But it’s a matter of convenience for you in truth when you can use the same elements to cut both ways.

    bigrodneyakatrey,

You got that right. Between the RHINOS, Bush being one, that started this massive growing of government and a STATESMAN running for POTUS we were AWAKENED.

We did not just wake up because the Democrats had control of the government but because the entire government, all parties concerned, were growing the government and eroding our liberties.

That is what awakened us from a very long nap.

  6. NoBailout4Banksters Says:

    snorp73,

In the first place Rand Paul has way too much integrity to ever even run as a VP with a RHINO such as McCain.

Could that be what we are all referring to?

  7. NoBailout4Banksters Says:

Sara Palin is on her way to Texas to campaign for Rick Perry.

This is the person you so-called TeaParty people want to represent you?

What a joke. She is a SELLOUT to the republican party and does NOT represent We The People.

Very BAD MOVE there Sara if you truly wanted support in 2012 if you run. Not like we would have ever supported you anyways, though.

Vote Debra Medina for Texas Governor. The REAL Liberty candidate!!

  8. Kras3169 Says:

Palin is a populist. She was first in line to get big federal handouts for her state. The reason there’s no state income tax in Alaska is because they have a huge severance tax on oil, and they’re always running to the federal government. Sarah Palin is not a Libertarian on virtually any issues that I can think of aside from gun rights. I think she’s a shill. She’s being groomed as the next GOP czar by at least one wing of the party.

  9. rjksoccer06 Says:

He’s being nice to her because his Idol Pat Buchanan recently supported her

  10. billyboy647 Says:

Palin does not have a firm philosophical foundation. Her looks and personality have put her in waters over her head. Want a great conservative woman with intellect to match: Michelle Bachman is a worthy person to support. Regarding Tparty: they and similar such groups should not become a party, but watch dogs to vet candidates, irrespective of party affiliation, promote the best and encourage support for them. It won’t take a majority of constitutionalists in congress to make a HUGE difference.

  11. mrhulot101 Says:

We are in the middle of the worst unemployment since the great depression, why won’t the tea party or the dems or repubs come out for an immigration moratorium? We import monthly over 125,000 foreigners on mostly fraudulent worker visas and our leaders maon we can not make more jobs for Americans.
We are terrified of making e Verify mandatory and ousting the 10-15 illegals employed illegally now. The Tea Party nor the other parties speak about the elephant in the room.

  12. billyboy647 Says:

Palin’s thinking is a mishmash of conflicting ideas. Not so with Dr. Ron Paul. He knows what neither neocon Palin and Hannity seem to grasp: WAR IS THE STRENGTH OF THE STATE.
When the state carries on wars, nation building & crusades to grow its power under the guise of “patriotism” it cannot be reined in and limited. Paul’s thinking is coherent and consistent with limited government and our Founders, while Palin and Hannity’s “rah, rah Military” is inconsistent with limited government.

  13. billyboy647 Says:

Bad idea. Perry is a political animal, par excellence and former Al Gore apparatchick. Tea Party/Campaign for Liberty, 9/12 folks here in Texas hope for legislators who will support nullification, and, if necessary, secession. (My hope is that it will come to that) Perry ain’t that leader and neither is KBH. Like all politicians both he and she are followers—of polls. Debra Medina seems to offer Texas the real Texan, limited government, principled candidacy.

  14. billyboy647 Says:

Palin is also planning to campaign for the Progressive McCain in Arizona. The only thing McCain and other republican progressives like Lindsey Graham were upset about in the last year was they weren’t on the inside of Obama’s Amazing Exploding Centralized State. Palin is their witless shill—really unprincipled. I’m not sure she’d know a true principle if one walked right up to her. Michelle Bachman is not as easily manipulated, and twice as articulate in opposing tyrannical government.

  15. billyboy647 Says:

In order to have consistency of thought one must first have thought. Palin, lacks needed powers of critical thinking. Decent instincts (along with her looks) has helped her, but her lack of training in critical thinking makes her a repository of incoherent & confused notions, & therefore easily manipulated & used by bad people. Too bad, she’s a really good person, just not America’s leader. The Potomac snakes would play her like a violin and she’d collapse in paranoia in no time.

  16. hillbillybeachboy Says:

The “tea party” is what the 9/11 Truth Movement started, not a platform for a confused politico.

  17. goodinohio Says:

    Ron Paul supporters not truthers.

  18. lezlitaz Says:

    Ron Paulers not 911 truth

  19. ar4216 Says:

Politico says she is getting $100,000 and is guaranteed either a private jet or a first class ticket.
“$550 ticket prices, a steak and lobster dinner and a guest speaker with a $100,000 speaking fee. Its sponsored by a for-profit company with a mysterious wealthy benefactor, and its organizers, who have been accused of secrecy and corruption, have threatened lawsuits against dissenters and clamped down on news coverage.”
    Grassroots movement my ass.

  20. CSAPolitics Says:

Enteresting I can understand the problem but not the solution.

  21. bigrodneyakatrey Says:

Pimp = Head of HARVARD LAW REVIEW
    i agree
    pimp

  22. lezlitaz Says:

she can be bought just like many others

  23. lezlitaz Says:

supporting a group that believes something you may or may not agree with is not the same as leading a group. is it possible he supports the desires of the” truth movement”, which is a TRUE investigation, including those who placed early bets on airlines, and accountability for the mistakes that were made? our gov. has shown only a smidgeon of how corrupt it can be, why is it hard for people to think there was rampant corruption, disinfo and blatant lies about 911

  24. Thrashfan21 Says:

I think McConnell will end up backing Rand should he win the GOP primary. At this point it looks like 2010 will be a Red wave year so Kentucky may end up being quite safe.

  25. sage0857 Says:

    Sarah Palin sucks donkey dicks
